Dual Phase Oil Water Tank Interpolation

Lease Operators needed an easy way to perform gauge interpolation. We listened to this requirement of theirs and developed a capability using which an LO can interpolate Ending oil and Ending water volumes between two readings of a Dual Phase Tank, generating gauge values for all the intermediate days for which readings were not taken. This significantly reduced the time and effort involved in doing interpolation manually by the LO and also avoids calculation errors while doing the same.

Deleting Routes does not delete the constituent Stops which are part of other routes too

Production Accountant needed a way to safely delete a route without effecting stops which are part of other routes. We listened to this requirement of theirs and developed the capability to leave out those stops which are part of other routes when deleting a route and its constituent stops and objects. This allows the PA to selectively delete specific routes without worrying about any unintended consequences with stops shared with other routes.

When Assets are deleted, checks are done to ensure they are not part of configured allocation networks

Production Accountants needed a way to avoid deleting objects which are part of Allocation Networks, to avoid unintended consequences. We developed a capability where any deletion of route, stop or assets would be preceded by checking whether one or more of the assets being deleted are part of any allocation network, which may be currently active or not. This ensures the user does not mistakenly delete assets which are part of allocation networks, deleting which would cause problems while running allocations.

Ability to define disposition sequencing, to force allocations in a specific order, for a product

Production Accountants have asked for an ability to sequence allocations such that flash and fuel allocated volumes could be used to allocate sales volumes. We listened to this need of theirs and developed the capability to use one disposition’s allocated volume as a volume or ratio basis for other disposition as well as configure the allocations to run these dispositions in a specific sequence. This would allow the PAs to setup such complex Allocation Scenarios as well as run Allocations in desired sequence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date results.

Persist date filter for Alloc Results from Network Canvas

Production Accounting users required a way to persist date selection when they filter and select allocation results to view on canvas. We understood this requirement of theirs and developed the capability to persist the date range selected when filtering and fetching daily allocated volume results on the canvas. This would significantly reduce the number of clicks the PA makes to view the desired results on the allocation canvas saving them time and avoidable effort.

Upload formula meters with nested conditional logic

Production Accountants wanted a capability to bulk upload formula meters even in scenarios where the formula encompassed algebraic expressions and nested conditional statements. We listened to this requirement of theirs and developed the capability to upload formula meters which nester conditional statements and algebraic expressions. This would significantly reduce the PAs time in configuring complex formula meters and using the same in allocation networks when setting up new networks or migrating networks from a different source system during acquisitions.
